Morning everyone

Misty before the rain. And feels much warmer :D

Mist always make my internet connection very slow, so I turn it on and then leave it for half an hour or so

I really want to get out on the garden, to get rid of yet more lavender bushes, but think that might have to wait.

Oh well, I-ve got some books, that will have to do

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

Morning all, dry and sunny with a bitterly cold wind here.

Bill’s had his walk, haven’t seen anyone else out walking the last two mornings.

Main aim of today is to try and keep warm.

Have a good day all :D

Good morning all.
I hope you get your rain Ally, hopefully when you have finished your walk and not during it! Same here kaz, I reckon we've had enugh rain for the moment. Have a good day Cruiser; I have to get to the bank too. Enjoy your book Jan. Jo, since the temperature has dropped we've seen fewer dog walkers around too.
Well there was a loud crashing and bashing from the kitchen this morning. The drum has jammed on the washing machine and it looks terminal. We can't complain, it's a Bosch and we must have had it fifteen years at least.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, it’s sunny and cloudy here, dry but very windy and cold - there is a very high tide and water is pouring over the harbour wall. Edward has gone to play golf. I will go and get the car washed and collect stuff from the cleaners. Otherwise, I’ll see where the day takes me.

Morning all :D

Lovely sunshine but very very cold brrrr

My Aussie brother Ivan (same Father) who now lives in Wimbledon spent Christmas and NY in Melbourne with our sister Alison. Vivien their mother, my stepmother, sadly has dementia and has been moved from New South Wales to a care home near Alison. While Ivan was there he met up with the daughter of my Dad's best friend Peter who died some time ago. While she was going through his things she found a few photo's of me as a baby with both my Dad and Mum. She gave them to Ivan to pass on to me which was very nice, they arrived in the post this morning. They're very tiny, black and white, I was still a young baby. I've not seen them before so it's nice to have them. Obviously they're very old and not in the best condition so I'll scan them to the computer incase they deteriorate more.

No plans for today, Ed came in from going round for the papers looking absolutely frozen, methinks staying indoors in the warm makes most sense

Hope you all have a good day, stay warm xx

What is it with washing machines? We had to replace ours last week and just out walking Bill we’ve passed two left on footpaths on the estate for the tat man.
