Good Morning Sunday

Postby JanB » 14 Jan 2024, 08:33

Morning everyone

Sun and cloud again this morning, with a possibility of some rain. Mild at the moment and 21C later. If we're lucky

I've got some washing out, so hopefully that will dry before it rains :D

Off to Castro Verde after coffee, as we need to find out where this court is. Will stop at Lidl's on the way back and also Aldi, to get something for breakfast. Sadly, most of the cafe's in Ourique shut on Sunday, otherwise we'd have stopped for breakfast.

Gardening of some sort, I think, after that and roast pork for dinner. We had planned a bbq, but not much fun if it rains

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

It's a grey, chilly day here. Mick has a cold and cough so we're staying in today. I bought a Tesco meal day yesterday, for dinner, and we're face timing with Becky later. She's leaving Sydney tomorrow for her first housesitting job.

Yes, see you later, Al :D xx

Have a good pootling day, Cruiser xx

Hope you get it sussed out Jan xx

Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning all, it’s mostly sunny here but a very chilly 1 degree. I’m having a girly night out tonight, going with Miss Osc and my sister to see a comedy trio called Foil, Arms and Hog - my sister bought the tickets as our Christmas present. It’s in Dublin City so I’ll drive to my sister’s house and we will get public transport from there, then a taxi back there to collect the car. It means Miss Osc and sis can have a few glasses of wine when we have a meal before the show. Looking forward to it. Here’s a sample of the guys we are going to see - I do realise they might be particularly Irish.

Morning al.
Grey and damp, as ever.
The child Eliza seems to have recovered; kids are very up and down aren't they? Quick to go off colour, and quick to recover.
So it's just me and MrsC for dinner.
Enjoy the night out Osc and the bbq or rain Jan! I hope Mick picks up Kaz; house sitting seems a good idea for B. I bet she's enjoying Australia.
We could do with a bit of 22c Ally. That sounds like a nice dinner Cruiser.
Have a good day everyone.

Sorted. Doesn't look like anything like a court, a building under a block of flats

Got some nice bits and bobs for our dinner party on Tuesday and we've only just got back, so are heading out for lunch :Hi:

Lovely and sunny, bit blowy though.

Enjoy the show Osc xx

Hope Mick feels better soon Kaz xx

Reminded me a bit of Mrs Brown’s Boys, Osc

Thanks for the good wishes for Mick, he wouldn’t stay in bed, but is now asleep on the sofa

Glad you found it Jan :)

Morning all :D

Very cold brrrr

We've had a nice lie in again so just having brekkie/lunch, I'm already exhausted after washing my hair in the basin. Didn't really want to bother, but it's my hosital appointment tomorrow with Mr Mostofi. Honestly my hair looks awful, it's not been coloured for over 3mths now and the roots are driving me mad. Can't wait to get back to the hairdresser and have a good cut and colour!!!

Big surprise reveal on The Masked Singer last night, anybody else watching? Not sure about the reboot of Gladiators, used to love it back in the day, but not so much now. DOI is back tonight, looking forward to that.

Absolutely no plans for today, intend to be extremely lazy.

Hope you all have a good day, stay warm xx
