Fun and games here this morning, we overslept and didn't wake up till 10 We were expecting a delivery from Ocado (M&S goodies) at 12.30 but they arrived an hour early. I didn't even hear the door bell, Ed did, but had just got out of the shower. The delivery chap got a surprise seeing a man in his underpants open the front door

Think that's enough excitement for one day, planning to have a lazy afternoon.

Dreadful drive up, foggy for most of the way

Only a 15 minute wait, which is not too bad

They have put some silver nitrate on one of them. The other, they were a little concerned about and cut it off and it's been sent for analysis Had to go through the medical history of Gladys with the stoma nurse and the doc and got a telling off for not seeing a gastro doc for over eight years Also got a telling off for using tinctura de benjoim, which I have used for as long as I've had the stoma. Apparently, I should never use it, as it can damage the skin, but she was pleased with mine



So I'll just finish the bottle

Back to see them in three weeks.

Just had some soup, then I'll make the stew and Grumpy is going to clean the Honda, as it might be going on it's annual holiday to the Algarve tomorrow.

I have just typed Vintge blankets and get quite a few matches. Different colours and most in the £ 20.00 -- 30.00 price range.

We had one for many years which still had the old wartime label on it. That was a real wool blanket. Long since gone.

Frank I did a search of “traditional blankets“ on Amazon. Found some large cellular cotton ones, like the ones they put on cots. Also found some lovely traditional wool ones but they were really expensive
