It's the potential that's exciting us Jan :) Especially Mick, as it would give him a project to get his teeth into.

Thats a huge garden Kaz. The chalet bungalow definitely has potential

You remember my friend who lost the one they wanted? They have now found another one a few doors down.

We’re putting a move on hold. Quite annoyed with the Estate Agents as they rang us to advise dropping the price to £425k as that’s what our neighbouring one has done. It was only a month ago that they told us £455k - if they’d said £425k in the first place we would have set it there, and wouldn’t even have looked at the Hucclecote one as it would have been out of reach

Estate Agents are such chancers! :( :?

If we sell for £425k we can’t afford to get a bungalow with everything we need in a good part of town. We have ruled out the lovely Longford one as we’ve decided we either need 3 beds, or at least an extra room that could be one if required. My ex has developed some health issues that while not terribly serious have made us wonder what would happen to Harry if anything happens to Martin. He couldn’t live alone.

Feeling disappointed, to be honest.

That's complete bugger Kaz

Estate agent are just the same over here, think of a number, think of commission.

They get 5 per cent here

You'll get it sorted, so many things to think about xx

Thank you both :)

We just need some time to come to grips with what we really want, I think. Luckily we have no pressing need to move, so can play it by ear.

sorry to hear that Kaz but better to leave it for now and see how the land lies in a few months time. As a matter of interest did you get many viewings compared to your neighbours?

Sorry to hear this Kaz, sensible to put it on hold if there's no rush.

We don’t know, as they’re on with a different agent. We’ve not seen any coming and goings but then we’re out a lot so…..

Thanks Jen xx
