it is about politics and politicians. It is about how governments twist the voters and the votes to win.
What is going on in the US today is relatively important because it is a new form of election rigging. Whilst it will be possible for illegals to vote in 11 states where they do not mandate proof of citizenship to vote, it is affecting them in a different way and one which will also affect the UK.
Flooding certain constituencies with illegals changes the census values. Boundary commission changes are based on how many people live there. flooding Labour areas with illegals gets them counted on the census and feeds into boundary changes. Which effects elections. Which is why fringe voters are being encouraged to vote for the Tories on fringe issues rather than not voting or voting for fringe candidates. Honestly the Tories need the votes.
On the US front they have had around 13 million illegals come over since Biden came to power. Almost all of them have been funnelled into core democrat states. Unlike the UK with our boundary commission, the US bases Congress seats and Presidential electoral college votes on the populations within the states at every election. Just like the UK boundary commission, the number of people are counted, not just the legal citizens with a vote. Then the allocation is made.
This is about winning an election by the back door. Something you will see both Labour and the Tories doing more of as we come to the next election. UK politics has moved more to how they can force an election win rather than convincing the voters they should be voted for. The US is much further down the road.
Not very pleasant.
