Off to the coffee morning later, taking a load of edibles and books. Picking up a couple of people on the way, so although I was going to take the posh car, better not, as they're into their 70's and getting one of them in and out of the back could be tricky

Grumpy is staying behind to do some strimming.

Back to make favas for tomorrow and might treat Grumpy to a beer or three down at the bar.

Leaden skies here again, and not very warm. Out for my 9am meeting, then brunch with Mick. Hoping it warms up later, but as I type it's started hammering down!

We had a lovely lunch with Jan and Dave yesterday, they really are very special neighbours.
Busy, busy today, washing, bed change and a general tidy ready for my trip to the hospital tomorrow. Oh and Sainsbury's are due to deliver sometime between 12-1pm.

Afternoon all, late on parade today, the morning ran away from me and then it was time to go to my class. Back now and I’ll mostly be relaxing before we go dancing tonight. It’s a dull and murky day although a touch warmer.

Good afternoon.
Cloudy and dull here but not too cold.
We are just back from the big shop.
We had quite the surprise when we got to Home Bargains. A large part of the car park had been taken over by the colourful travelling community - caravans and Transit vans everywhere. The lady travellers were enlivening our dull morning by wandering around the car park in their colourful nighties and slippers. They are such lovely people.*

Apart from that everywhere seemed really busy today, the roads, the supermarket.
We will go up to our daughter's with her shopping later, also ring the hospital for news of MrsC's Uncle Jim. The silly sod is back in again after another fall. I think it's getting to the point where he will need to go into a care home, unfortunately. He's fallen twice in the last few weeks and this one was quite a nasty one.

Also I need to chase up BT. Our land line has changed to digital voice, only it hasn't. It's as dead as a doornail.

Wine and crisps tonight, I think.
