Merry morning Ally and everyone - happy Monday

enjoy the walk and the relax day Ally
It's a much much cooler start to the day today. I was meant to go to the allotment early yesterday morning to avoid the midday sun, but a missing chicken put paid to that idea and I ended up spending hours looking for her - so I only got just over an hour in at the lottie before giving up; it was just too hot because there is absolutely no shade there whatsoever; and you can't drink much water to cool down because there aren't any loo's ;-) . So I'm hoping to get there this evening before any rain arrives. Vet appointment for boosters this morning and the usual Sainsbury's run for fresh stuff and that's about the excitement of my day

have a lovely day all

Morning all, it’s sunny and breezy at the moment with rain forecast later this afternoon and through until tomorrow.

It was such a hot and humid night. Joe was up at 3.30am for an early flight to Paris for a work trip, it’s a three day training course and he’ll be back late Wednesday night.

Got a new microwave being delivered today. I was emptying the dishwasher the other night and a glass fell out of the cupboard, I saw a bit of glass on the counter and thought it was from that but it must’ve knocked onto the microwave door as it fell and completely shattered it, thankfully only a few bits broke off and the rest stayed intact so I covered it in cling film and parcel tape in case it shattered everywhere later - no damage at all to the glass which had fallen out of the cupboard

We got soaked to the skin coming out of the match yesterday. Thunder, lightning, hail and the heaviest rain I’ve seen for years. We literally walked out of the stadium and crossed the road to the small car park where we always park, 150 yards at most, and we looked like we’d been for a swim in the ship canal

Have a good day all :D

Morning all, back to damp and dreary again after some really gorgeous weather. I confess, it’s my fault for getting summer clothes out of the attic yesterday  Mobility class this morning, then we are going to a tea dance this afternoon - this venue is not somewhere we ever go but someone made a point of asking us to support it, so we said we would go. It’s almost an hour away, not looking forward to the drive on a Monday afternoon along the M50 :?

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny here 8-)

We've got a Tesco order due to arrive sometime between 12-1, but the app says they're just 2 stops away so they will probably be early. Not a problem, we want to get out in the garden, the earlier the better. We bought solar lights sometime ago and haven't got around to getting them out there so plan to dot them round today.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all :)

It's raining here, started at lunchtime  Been to town with Emma, and just got home. Mick bought my washing in, thank goodness - it's on the airer now.

Osc, I will share the blame with you - I've had a clear out over the weekend in preparation for getting the rest of my summer stuff out :P  xx

Love to all :) xx

I’ll take some of the blame too.
We took the garden furniture and barbecue out of the garage and onto the patio yesterday
