Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 29 May 2024, 04:40

Good morning.

39° forecast so I'll say it's going to be a hot one.

David's picking me up at 9 and we're going for a walk to Guadalmar. :D

We're out tonight with friends to an Italian restaurant.
Haven't been there for a while and I love their food so I'm looking forward to a feast.

Have a great day.

Enjoy the walk with David - he seems to be doing really well :) ; and enjoy the dinner

Office day for me; going in a bit later as trains are a lot cheaper after 9.30am; so caught up on emails this morning and did other bits and bobs.

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

Lovely and cool again this morning, but the heat is ramping it up later. Mid 30's for us.

Off to Ourique soon, normal supermarket shopping and I need to put money on both phones, so a trip up to the post office.

Back to make a start on the prep for tonight. Our roses are looking lovely, so I'll cut a few and put them in vases on the tables. Bistro style lounge again, too hot to eat out the back and although we could sit by the pool, next door will be listening and watching  as he always does, but then you also have the flies, wasps. So inside it is.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

It is still only 17C. I have three thermometers. One is on the controller for the boiler. Then I have an old fashioned one in the kitchen.
The liquid which goes up and down is blue with both Celcius and farheneit readings.

Then in the small bedroom where i have my computer I have another one with a needle which shows the temperature and humidity.
There is also a pointer which goes across a dial from 16C to above 25C

Going to collect a prescription. They did not have it when I went on Saturday morning.
Back home will just be pootling.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, mostly cloudy here. My jaw and gum are still sore and I didn’t sleep very well. Got a letter this morning with a medical appointment - for last Wednesday  So I’ll sort that out this morning. Also Edward got a cheque which needs to be lodged to a saving account in his name, so we’ll have to drive to the bank at some stage. He has just gone out armed with his secateurs, he says the path he takes to the golf club has got very overgrown. I also need to do some ironing, I’d better get moving.

Morning all :D

Nice and dry, not sure if we're in for rain later.

Sorry your jaw is still painful and you had a bad night Osc, hope it eases as the day goes on xx

It's eldest daughter and SIL's anniversary today, I have 27yrs in my diary, but apparently it's 29 :o I seem to have lost a couple of years along the way

We're popping over to the small Tesco in the next hour or so. Don't need much, just some fresh veggies, but it will be good to get out.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
We have been up on Heath Common this morning (just outside Wakefield) chucking the ball for our distinguished guest, the ginger hound Mr Dobby the dog.
Our daughter and sil have taken Eliza off to Cyprus for a week and we are dog sitting.
MrsC is now with her sis at our son's house doing a spot of cleaning.
We have had rain and cloud, now we have sun and cloud. The clouds are quite dramatic, some of them are massive vertical ones.
We will walk the pooch again later.
Have a nice day all.

Afternoon everyone :)

Yikes, Ally! That's hot  xx

Jan, I think I know which is the biggest pest ;) :cute: xx

I hope you feel better soon, Osc xx

*Waves to everyone*

It's a dry breezy day here. Been to town to meet my friend J, then walked up to D's. My washing is nearly dry - might iron it, or I might not ;)

Love to all xxx
