Good morning.

Hot. :D 8-)

Going for an early walk to Guadalmar with David. :D

We'll have a well deserved cold cerveza when we're done.

Friday beers and tapas tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cool again this morning, with dust still around, so no sun. Chance of a thunderstorm this afternoon. We actually had a few spots of rain yesterday

Off to the coffee morning later, must make the samosas first  Meeting the boss lady of Alerta, which is a charity based in the Algarve, but now moving up here a little more. I take credit for that one ;) They raise funds for the bombeiros, not only for the fire season, but all year. They also have a team who inform us of the fire alerts. This morning, Debby will be handing over new uniforms to the Almodover and Ourique commandants.

Then we're off for lunch and will, no doubt, head back to the bar afterwards.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

You'll deserve that beer Ally :) xx

Jan, that's great about the charity xx

It's sunny here! :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Up early to get to my meeting, then a cuppa with Em afterwards. Round to D's with Mick at lunchtime as our sister-in-law Marina is visiting from Somerset. Will be nice to see her :)

Love to all :) xx

Good morning everybody.

Still only 16C when I got up. What has happened to global warming. Seems to have missed this part of England. The sun is trying to come out
Had a lovely day out at Bassenthwaite Lake Station yesterday. The full size replica steam train and carriages used in the film "Murder
on the Orient Express" are now used for dining. A very pleasant location with excellent service and food.

Back to today, I am going to Chorley this morning. Then this afternoon will be going to Lidll.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :D

Nice and bright, hope it lasts.

Very strange about Michael Moseley, I hope they find him today.

Due at the hospital for 10.45 this morning. Hope we're not hanging around all day, even more, hope it doesn't involve a big long needle :|

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning all and happy Friday!

Ally enjoy the walk - lovely that David is doing so well! That beer will be very welcome at the end of that walk I'm sure.
Jan, fab re the charity and well done you for getting it arranged - I still find it quite astounding that the bombeiros get no government funding. Have a fab coffee morning
Kaz, you too have a lovely day and enjoy catching up with Marina
Cruiser, the lunch sounds amazing - what an incredible venue! Enjoy Chorley and don't spend too much money ;-)
Jen, just googled re Michael Mosely - do hope he is found. Good luck with the hospital appointment.

Friday = the usual wfh day for me. But today with more pootle than work (but shhhhh, don't tell).... giving the house a good clean and making the most of the dry weather to get lots of washing done

have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s mostly cloudy here. Edward has gone to play golf and I will be going to mobility class in a while. As our visitors for tonight cancelled the other day, we’ll have a nice relaxed evening - there is no dancing as the hall is being used as a poll station. We are voting in local and European elections today, I am not sure who to vote for but I know who won’t be getting my vote! We have PR here which makes the counts interesting. I have an appointment this afternoon with a doctor about my knee - she is the doctor in the practice who deals with stuff like that and I really hope she suggests a steroid injection although I doubt she would give it today, although it would be good if she did. It has actually disimproved since I had the MRI three weeks ago.

Right, better get moving, I have a jeans wash in the machine to get out on the line, and am still working my way through the bedding from last week’s visitors and our own bed - then they will all have to be ironed  I got my nails done yesterday and they are a rather “vibrant” orangey red, still trying to get used to them!

Morning all, it’s dull after a sunny yet chilly start (keep going out with Bill and regretting not taking gloves!)

It’s Amanda’s Birthday today, she’s back up here for the weekend so Joe’s off to her house after work. They’re out for a family meal tonight, then going indoor golfing in Digbeth tomorrow. He’s back on Sunday so we’ve got a quiet weekend (probably cursed it saying that). He’s bought her an iPad which she wants to use for sketching so we’ve bought her an Apple Pencil, a case and a small bag of Lindt pick and mix which cost a whopping £12.80   You should’ve seen John’s face when they were weighed, he was already in shock at hearing someone pay £8 for two small ice cream cones in there

I’ve just booked our car parking for Green Day, getting SO excited now :Hi:

Good afternoon.
Same here Cruiser. June and it's not warm.
Well done Jan!
We are just back from the supermarket and MrsC's Uncle rings up to ask can we get him a bottle of whiskey. We rang him earlier for his list.
We have presecriptions to pick up, shopping to drop off and a child to pick up from school.
Will get on with that after a cup of tea.
Jo, is John from Yorkshire?
Fingers crossed that large needles do not feature in your immediate future Jen!
Have a lovely day everyone.

Crommers, I have my suspicions. He still shakes his head in disbelief about paying $17 for two pints in Vegas 7 years ago too
