Good Morning Tuesday

Postby JanB » 09 Jul 2024, 07:07

Morning everyone

Cloudy and cool this morning. But sun is promised for later.

I-ll water some of the plants this morning and I have some ironing to do, ready for later in the week.

Apart from that, not a lot going on. Might try and trim some yuccas.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

a very good merry morning Jan, Kaz and everyone

Enjoy the garden day Jan, hope the weather stays perfect temperature for it

A dull overcast start to the day here. I'm about to head off to meet up with Nadine to catch the train and make our way up north - can't wait!
I was looking a bit earlier and realise it's going to take Ally about the same time to get to Birmingham from Malaga, as it is going to take Nadine and I from Woking

Have a lovely day all x

Chucking it down here.
We are off to fetch the dog down from our daughter's and give it a walk later.

Morning all, it’s a completely miserable day here, constant rain and chilly. I’ll finish off the holiday ironing, I was so lucky to get everything dry yesterday. I plan to tidy my bedside drawer, a real wet day project! I’ve been just popping things in there for too long and it’s very untidy. I’ll also sort through my costume jewellery, I’d say I could let some of it go - I have one of those things with little pockets that you hang in the wardrobe, it’s due a tidy up. Then we’ll just have to watch tennis for the afternoon ;)

Have a great day in Brum everyone!

Morning all :D

Wet

Thank you for all the good wishes. Ed's appointment went well, the x-rays look good. They operate a soft discharge, he has the number and e-mail so if he has a problem in the next year to let them know. If they don't hear from him in that time they will take him off their list. Must say I'm impressed, the RNOH have been great. It was a long day, we didn't get back home till 6.30pm.

We were very lucky with the weather. We both had wet coats just in case and it did rain, sometimes quite heavily, but not while we were actually outside. It must have been bad at times though, Westminster tube station was shut yesterday due to flooding :o

We had planned to do some food shopping this morning, but we didn't wake up till nearly 10am  We're obviously lightweights these days, all the gadding about has floored us  Not a big problem, plenty of stuff in the freezer so I'll be making a chicken curry for dinner tonight.

Enjoy the meet up today, safe travels.

Hope you all have a good day xx

My patio tomatoes leaves' are turning yellow, we've had so much rain. :(

Glad things went well, Jen.
