Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 12 Jul 2024, 04:24

Good morning.

Apart from it raining when I landed Tuesday morning the weather has been very nice. Cloudy but lots of sunshine too.
Perfect for my itinerary. :D
As it's going to be 42° for Don I'm glad I'm here.

I've had two fantastic days with Michele. Shopping, non stop laughing and it's been lovely meeting and visiting Moz. :D

Seeing Moz again this morning then I'm getting the 12.40 train back to Nottingham and sis will drive to Stansted, drop her hire car off and get her flight back to France.

Craig's going to pick me up at the station and we're going food shopping.

Out tonight to the Doctor's Orders for a few beers. :D

Have a great day.

Sorry I missed your birthday Jan, I hope you had a lovely day. xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

And another grey, cloudy and rather windy start. But the sun will come out to play and we'll have another rather warm day 8-)

Glad you had a good catch-up Ally x And no worries about the birthday, another two years, then we can party

Samosa building and cooking this morning, then off to the coffee morning. Even Steve is coming  Only because I won't drop any samosas off for him and Rachel has been singing their praises

Back for a relax and swim and then picking Rachel up and we're off to the Nirvana for dinner. It's her birthday today and her husband is in the UK, so seven of us are off there. Never been before, it's all a bit hippy dippy, vegan type place, but Rachel rarely eats meat, so off we go.

I'll see if I can find the link later.

Spoke to Mitchell yesterday, seems a little more up-beat. Jan and I will go and see him next week.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning.
Sun and clouds here atm.
So you two are going out tonight then?
So am I - to Crigglestone Working Men's Club!
Eddie (son) is playing in the big band there tonight. I will be driving though, so no beer.
Apart from that it's a scoot around the shops and then picking Eliza up from school.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all, sun and cloud here, I have a double load of washing on the line so it should get nicely dry. Mobility class this morning and no particular plan for the rest of the day. There is no dancing tonight, don’t know why though. Might clean the bathrooms if the urge takes me. Edward has headed off to the golf club. I want to make an appointment to get my nails done on Tuesday, so I could do that, already have a hair appointment for that morning.

Hello and good morning you lot and everyone - happy Friday

Ally, safe travels to both you and Michele - glad you had a lovely time together (but then there never was a doubt that wouldn't be the case anyway ;-) )
Jan, enjoy the coffee morning. Just had a look at the menu - there's loads of meat on there so you'll all be fine. Looks quite yummy! Please send regards to Mitch when you see him
Crommers, enjoy your evening out.
Osc, enjoy a day to yourself whatever you end up doing

Well Friday = WFH day for me, so the usual mix of work and pootle with nothing exciting to report. The weather is equally unexciting

have a lovely day all x

Dull, windy, overcast and showers

Wash day for us and Sainsbury's are due to deliver between 12-1pm. Hoping the weather improves as we'd like to have a walk tomorrow, we'll see.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Had my SW meeting this morning - had another small loss, despite lunch in Brum on Tuesday   Round to D's this afternoon, now it's dry so Mick's working on the conservatory. I'm about to make us a very late lunch/ early dinner!

Love to all :) xx

It's a lot of work Kaz and I needed a swim to cool down, then a lie-down, as I was jiggered

Grumpy got bitten the other day and his leg was so swollen, I was quite worried. But the chemist sold me some gel and it's looking a lot better. We were even thinking of taking him to the urgençia, it was that bad. But all okay now.

Rather warm now 8-)
