Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 16 Aug 2024, 05:28

Good morning.

We were thinking of going out for a birthday lunch but it's forecast 41° so I'll have a Pimms in the pool on my lilo trying to keep cool instead.

Jacob & Inma and Conor & Lucia are coming over early evening to take Don and myself out for dinner. :cute:

I haven't seen the twins since early July with being away so I'm really looking forward to it. :D

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and everyone

Sounds like the perfect way to spend your special day! Enjoy the dinner out and definitely enjoy catching up with the twins and the ladies in their lives. :)

Usual Friday wfh day for me - it is so very very quiet at the office so really not much to do. I've got a call at 2.30 this afternoon and that's about the only thing that is scheduled. Promising to be a lovely 25 degrees which will be nice - yesterday ended up really windy and quite nippy.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

Warm. And will be warmer. A lot.

Enjoy your day Ally xx

We'll have another lazy day, planning for when we can get out and do things outside.

I'll get a bit of cleaning done - already done some - before it gets too hot.

Salad for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it was sunny when we got up but has clouded over a bit now. Edward has gone to play golf and I’ll be heading off to my mobility class in a while. Probably going dancing tonight, although Edward has been muttering about ManU’s first home game of the season - I might go by myself though as we haven’t been the last couple of weeks because of the Olympics. We’ll see…

Morning all :D

Another hot sunny day 8-)

We had a bit of rain in the early hours this morning, the first we've seen since before Michelle and co were here. The temperature has dropped a couple of degrees, but it's still hot and humid. Think we'll need a heavy downpour before it really cools down.

Wash day and a Sainsbury's order arriving sometime between 1-2pm. More than enough today, still recovering from yesterday's early start lol

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
Happy birthday Ally!
Salad here too Jan. Enjoy your calm day Ria. Same here Osc, it started off sunny but has clouded over.
I wish we had your sun Jen.
We are just back from Sainsbury's, not much on for the rest of the day. I've done most of the Telegraph crossword but I'm stuck on a couple.
Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon all :)

Ally that sounds perfect, enjoy your special day :D :D xx

*Waves to everyone*

It's a hot, sunny day here :) Not long got home after being out all day. First to SW, then round to D's where the drama of the dove in the chimney continues! Mick bought his endoscopic camera and brushes up there, but although the camera spotted him, the brushes wouldn't fit. So it's impasse

Round to D's afterwards then home. Just pegged out a few bits of washing, they'll be dry before dark.

Take care everyone xxx

Ah, good news! The dove got out by himself, Em wrapped him in a tea towel and released him :D
