Good Morning Saturday

Postby JanB » 24 Aug 2024, 07:18

Morning everyone

Misty - and it's playing havoc with my internet

Will warm up when this nasty stuff has gone.

Not sure what we're doing today. Supposed to be going out for a meal with friends at lunch time, but the place has been closed for a couple of days, so one of the guys said around to his for a bbq. Which neither of us really fancy. Might go, might not.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Janb and anybody else who is up.

It is only 18C with grey clouds but no rain.

No problem when I wentto have my feet checked yesterday as I am diabetic. The nurse just said she would see me again next year.

Just another day of pootling

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s sunny at the moment but forecast to disimprove later, so we’ll get in a walk shortly. Otherwise, I’ll be cleaning the bathroom and doing final holiday prep stuff.

Ria, I forgot to remark on your job situation yesterday - will you get some redundancy to tide you over while you look for another job? With your undoubted skills, I have no doubt you will soon find something.

Morning all :D

Wet

We were warned it would be torrential rain today, it's not quite that right now, but it is heavy and steady. We were planning a walk, but that's definitely not happening. We've been so lucky with the weather for quite a while now so it doesn't really impact us, but I am very sorry for all the families who were looking forward to spending time together this Bank Holiday weekend. The forecast is saying tomorrow will be nice and most of next week should see the sunshine return, fingers tightly crossed.

Betting eldest daughter and husband are glad they picked this time to take David abroad. They're in Corfu and it looks as though they're having a lovely time.

Not doing much, bed change and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Hope your day goes well Jan, whatever you decide xx

That's good then, Cruiser xx

Same for the Leeds festival, Vic, and it is a rotten shame xx

Not long now then, Osc :D xx

Ahh beautiful Corfu, my happy place 8-) Glad they're having a good time Jen xx

Hope your hands are ok Saundra ((x))

It's a sunshine and showers day here! Started off wet, so we had breakfast Portivo's as we can take Fraggle indoors. Nipped to B&W on our way round to see D, as Mick bought too many boxes of the laminate flooring, and needed to return two. Just got home from D's and taking it easy :)

Love to all xxx
