Morning Ally, morning everyone

Wet. Loads of rain over night :Hi:

Jose Felipe disced the field yesterday, just in time for the rain :D He'll sow it later this week.

Off to do the supermarket run and then a quiet day, after a late one yesterday.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Busy but good sounds good Al :) xx

Glad you got some rain Jan :) xx

It's another grey but hopefully dry day here. I'm going into town this morning to have a cuppa with J, then this afternoon I'm meeting Emma at the Starbucks on the retail park then to the big B&M on there as we both want to stock up on cleaning stuff.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning everybody,

It wa 16C when I got up. No rain just grey clouds again. Went to Lil after breakfast. One of the first ones in whenit opened. There wre quite a few
people waiting with me.

Ally have the floods affected you? One photo on TV showed a car upside down being washed down the road somwhere in Spain.

Will put the washing o as the basket is getting full. I am expecting a parcelwhich is coming by Royal Mail. f it s the normal postman he will ring the bell.
But others just knock on the door even though the brass bell push is at the side of the door.

May do some more gardening if it stays dry. Planted some crocus bulbs yesterday.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast

We enjoyed the film yesterday, looks like the franchise will continue, but without Tom Hardy. Because of the writers strike good films are a bit sparse at the moment. Really looking forward to Wicked which is due late November. I've already got my Elphaba Christmas tree ornament, I know, I know

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, sorry for the silence. I’ve been getting the garden tidied and enjoying some long walks while it’s not been raining.

Been out for a walk this morning. Tom’s coming over shortly. He’s for a dentist appointment this afternoon, just for a check up, and then a flu jab at Tesco this evening. He’s cooking for him and John seeing as me and Joe are off to the match late this afternoon. Fingers crossed that the M6 isn’t problematic.

Jen, it’s not been that good a year for films has it. There’s a Tom Hanks one due sometimes soon which I liked the look of from the trailer, the pre-release reviews haven’t been good though.

Have a good day all :)

Hi all, we are home after a really lovely time in Belfast with Miss Osc and the children. The Titanic Hotel was a great success, just as good as we had hoped. So much Titanic and Harland and Wolff memorabilia there, it was formerly the Harland and Wolff offices, the main bar is in the beautiful big office where they drew the plans for the ships they built including Titanic. Our drive up yesterday went smoothly with a stop at Banbridge for some shopping. Edward and I got some bits in M&S and Miss Osc got clothes for Michael. She also spotted a dressy jumpsuit that she thought might suit me, and although Edward wasn’t sure about it, he was persuaded ;)

We had a very nice meal yesterday evening in the hotel, and then went for a stroll around outside the Titanic Belfast building which is lovely. They had a Halloween ‘find the ghost’ competition for children, so Kellie had great fun trying to find the ghost stickers around the hotel - she managed to find them all and her prize was two big cookies and a mocktail! So we were all in full-on Titanic mode for our visit to the Titanic Experience today. Even Michael managed to shed his teenage boy persona and get quite involved in it all. It was the third time Edward and I had been there but we still enjoyed it especially seeing Miss Osc and the children enjoying it. A new thing they have since we were last there is a place where you can take a photo doing the Kate Winslet pose from the movie which was really good fun, especially as Kellie had been creating it anywhere she could yesterday and today  We had something to eat there before getting back on the road. I’m now in my dressing gown and will be heading to bed early as I didn’t sleep too well last night. While we were at the Titanic Experience, Edward got a phone call about the echo cardiogram requested by the GP, and has an appointment for tomorrow afternoon.
