Morning Ally, morning everyone

Foggy

It should be sunny and 24C later

Busy day here. Off to Ourique, for the normal food shopping, stopping off at the bombeiros, to make sure transport is okay for tomorrow.

Back to make a shepherds pie for tomorrow and a shed load of samosas for Friday.

I have a date for the hospital, late November, so need to look for and book and airbnb or something and also need to see Darren, to book the train, although that can wait a few days.

Phew.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

hello you two and good morning

24 and 25 degrees - sigh; what bliss
Ally, enjoy the lunch out
Jan, busy day for you - hope you get everything done

Well last day of officially being employed for me; but can't really do much in the way of work as my laptop was wiped yesterday. I'm struggling to log on via 365 so need to get that sorted asap as I think my email will be kept active for a bit longer until everything is 100% closed (accounts etc). I'm going to head to the office one last time tomorrow to do the official handing back to the landlord; although quite why I need to go in in person I'm not sure, it's not as though we have keys that need to be given back. But hey ho - such is life.

Today will be the usual Sainsbury's run and then sorting out the laptop so I have my usual programmes back; I feel rather lost without them. I have my exit interview at 3pm and then heading over to Karl and Nadine's for dinner (with a bottle of champagne!)

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, another dull damp one here, which kind of matches how I feel after the news from the US. I was up early as the car was collected for its service just after 8am. On today’s list - secretarial stuff that I didn’t do yesterday, doing the small bit of ironing in the basket, I have a wash in the machine. I’ll pop to the post office to take out some money. I’ve been doing fairly well with my jigsaw so might do more. Last episode of Until I Kill You tonight.

Big confusion

It's not the bombeiros, as I was told, it's a private ambulance, served by the oncology hospitals, but all sorted. They will ring later this afternoon, to arrange times.

Lovely sunny morning now, got all the shopping sorted, long chat with Jose in the bar, over coffee. Quick breakfast and now I'll start cooking

A sad day for you Ria, big hug xx

Just briefly looking in, to see how everyone is. Had a really busy day, so not had time to post until now! Out with Mick first, to a GP appointment (routine) then Emma picked me up, to go and see an old WW friend. On the way home we hit B&M and The Range, where we bumped into Em’s parents-in-law who invited us to go for a coffee with them. Got home, cooked chicken and Mediterranean veg for dinner, then I did my nails as two were peeling off! They’re gels done under a lamp, so it takes me ages

Jan, I hope you get this sorted - glad you have a date! xx

Ria, hope you’re feeling ok about all of this - huge ((((hugs)))) from the Jones/Jacksons and furries xxxx
