Have a good day with David, Ally - how is he doing now? xxx

Loads of love and luck for Grumpy’s operation, Jan. Will be thinking of you both ((((x))))

It’s grey and sort-of raining here again  Tesco shopping with D this morning, then this afternoon B and I are going to the Quays with Em. Pilates tonight. Mick is in the middle of an art project at the moment, so will appreciate the peace :P

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast

Jan good luck for Grumpy's operation, hugs for you both xx

We're up early, hate rushing first thing and we're going next door for elevenses and to see their new kitchen...yes we are those nosey neighbours  Means I can have my two big mugs of coffee now, I'm pretty useless before that

No other plans, expecting a Sainsbury's delivery later and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, another grey dreary day here although it did brighten up for a while yesterday. We will be off to dance practice in a while, then back for Kellie as per usual. We are also having our Covid/flu shots this afternoon but that is in the local chemist so we’ll be around for Kellie. Michael has a day off school and may make an appearance. Tesco delivery due between 3-5, so plenty going on. For the first time ever, so hopefully that will be the case this time too.

Late to the party today, but hello everyone

Hope everything goes well for Grumpy today Jan, (((hugs)))
How is David doing Ally?

I am meeting with the landlords letting agent at 1.30 today to officially hand back the office and then have the exit interview that was meant to be yesterday, but was delayed to today post said hand back.
Might be meeting up with Nadine this afternoon, and that's about the excitement for the day.

Have a lovely day everyone

Good afternoon.
Very dull and grey here, plus it's just started to drizzle.
I hope Grumpy's op went well Jan.
Jen, that made me laugh!
We have just been to pick up Eliza from school.
Have a good day everyone.

Oh dear, Portugal chaos reigns again

We were at the bar, having had a coffee, waiting for our driver. My phone rang, where are you, he asked. At the bar, I said.

No you're not, I'm here, you're not.

He was in Messines, which is in the Algarve  He'd been given the wrong address

He broke all the speed limits and we eventually met him in Pingo car park and set off only 40 minutes late.

He was going over 140 all the way  and got us there at 1.00.

He went in at 1.40 and was out by 2.30.

By the time we had sorted out all the paperwork and had to re-book transport home - normal, apparently - he got us back to Ourique at 4.45pm.

We went for a couple of beers

He's had his first lot of painkillers and will start the antibiotics tomorrow. Up to the Centro de Saude on Monday, for them to have a look-see.

It was bigger and deeper than they thought, and also took a lump out of his back, that was a bit weird. We'll get the results back in three ish weeks.

He's not the best of patients, so I'll have to bite my tongue a few times, over the next few days

Crikey Jan, I don't wonder that you needed a beer after that!
