Good morning.

Gorgeous sunshine and forecast 25° so I'll get off for my walk shortly. 8-)

We're meeting friends for lunch in the plaza. :D

SCD tonight and a Chinese takeaway. :cute:

Have a great day.

Happy birthday to M Kaz. xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Misty start but once that goes, sun and 22.

Not sure that we'll be doing today, the patient (and me) had a much better sleep, only being disturbed by a moz, so we had to move to another room and then Molly wanting to go out. His eye is now quite swollen and bruised, so more ice will be put on it later. No pain killers need last night, but I expect he'll have some during the day.

Easy to eat dinner again, chilli for him.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, another day with the grey pall hanging over us, and it is raw and damp outside. We both had a good night’s sleep after feeling very tired with sore arms yesterday after our Covid/flu shots on Thursday. I came back from the hairdresser yesterday feeling cold but two paracetamol and a snooze gave me just about enough energy to go dancing last night. Edward would have been happy not to go as he wanted to watch the rugby, but given the result he didn’t mind in the end! One of our dancing friends is going to take up the jumpsuit I bought last week, so I needed to see her. There is some ironing to be done, and I might get it out of the way. Strictly tonight.

Ally, I read out your weather to Edward and his response was not polite!!

Glad you both had a better night Jan.

We were actually up early to do the M&S trolley dash. After that I was at the GP to have my RSV jab, not quite as busy as some of you, but more than enough activity for me

No other plans, methinks it will be a lazy afternoon. Strictly tonight.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning, I think.
The weather is still grim here too; grey overcast, cold and not a breath of wind.
People have been letting off fireworks all week around here. Literally money to burn!
MrsC and her sis have gone to put some flowers on family graves and take Jim a paper.
He's not in a good way. He should really be in care but he won't have it, the stubborn old sod.
Jan, people will think that you have been battering Grumpy! It's good that you had a better night.
The All Blacks always seem to find a way to win Osc. I like the sound of a trolley dash Jen.
Ally, I do envy you your weather right now.
Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon everyone :)

Thanks for the birthday wishes for Mick, Al :)

Best wishes to Grumpy, Jan xx

Well the birthday boy is having a nice day so far :D Coffee in bed opening mine and B’s presents, and various cards. I bought him a handmade shirt at the Cheltenham Christmas Fair last week, made by a very nice lady no two the same 8-) B has got him a tablet thing that syncs art up to laptop or any other smart device by drawing on a special pad. We were meeting up with friends for breakfast, but she has flu so we went down the Quays as per, had brekkie and a wander round the part of the Xmas market that we didn’t get to last week. It’s now on every weekend until Christmas. We then decided to keep going and walked Daisy and Fraggle round the dock. We’re round D’s having birthday cake 8-)

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone :) xx

It's glorious outsider and the washing didn't take long to dry :D

He fancies some fresh air, so I'll take him down to the bar and he can have a beer and accept some sympathy ;)
