Good Morning Monday

Postby JanB » 03 Feb 2025, 07:53

Morningeveryone

Sun is out, so is the wind and a few clouds around, but 16C later.

Off to Ourique this morning, as Grumpy is to have some of the stitches out. They do every other today and the rest on Wednesday.

I need to pop into Pingo and also the chemist on our way back.

Washing, hopefully, will be done when we get back.

Taking a load of recycling down later and be rude not to pop into the bar and see how Jose is. He wasn't too good last week.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning JanB and anybody elsewho is up.

Only 12C when I got up.There is a blue sky. Several white vapour tails from aircraft.

Taking a parcel to be sent to my grand-daughter. I use UPS. It should get there tomorrow in Kent. I get messades to say where it is and a photo showing it has
been delivered.
Making some phone calls and doing some shoping.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning.
It's noticable how much lighter it is getting on a morning.
I have just dropped MrsC off at our daughter's.
Later on will do a quick shop.
I hope Jose has perked up Jan and you've reminded me that I need to order some stuff on line Cruiser.
Sorry for the absence, things have been a bit busy recently.

Have a good day everyone.

Hello and good morning you three and everyone.

Jan, busy day for you today - hope you get all done. And hope Jose is feeling better :-( say hello from me please
Cruiser, UPS here are very good as well. Hope you get all the shopping done
Crommers, hope all is OK? As for the lighter mornings; I had a quiet chuckle to myself when I read your comment, because only this morning as I was getting up I was thinking exactly the opposite - that these lighter mornings should hurry up   . The evenings definitely are lighter longer, but the mornings are still too dark for my liking

Well, the usual / usual for me - computer time / allotment and some shopping. Nothing interesting on TV tonight that I can see (besides that 1/2 hour at 8pm on BBC1), so not sure what the evening will bring

Have a good day all x

Morning all :)

Best wishes for Grumpy and for Jose, Jan xx

That sounds more efficient than Parcelforce Cruiser xx

Definitely lighter, both mornings and evenings Crommers :D xx

Have a good day Ria :) xx

Well it's another day at the vets for Fraggle, more bloods 8 hours apart. Hoping for definite answers this time. B and I are going into town to meet Em and J for lunch. B is still taking some Mondays to use up her leave quota. Mick has a cold and cough, hoping I don't pick it up

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, it’s dull and damp here but the outside temperature has crept up to 10c. It’s a bank holiday here, quite a new one so everyone keeps forgetting about it  Mobility class this morning then back to start organising clothes for our 5 night dance break starting next Sunday. I’ll put on a wash before we go out of things we might want to bring and I’ll have a bit of a try on of various clothes later. There is also ironing to be done, I’ll need to keep up with it this week and we will be out tomorrow. Edward is not playing golf, it gets too busy on bank holidays. Tonight we will catch up on Call the Midwife and might watch the Boyzone documentary.

All the stitches out on his back and only a few left on his face. An amazing scar, so tiny :Hi: :Hi: Well done that 16 year old surgeon (well, he looks about 16  )

Jose had some tests done yesterday and sees a doctor tomorrow. Odett worried sick. Not quite sure what is wrong with him, but an operation was talked about. Hopefully find out more later.

It's gorgeous in the sun, still chilly when the wind blows.

Some-one, who should be sorting out the washing machine is just enjoying the sun

Morning all :D

Heavy frost, but bright and sunny now.

Glad Grumpy's stitches came out well Jan.
Hope all goes well for Fraggle at the vet Kaz.
Crommers any news on Jim, is he still at the CH?

We slept in so playing catch up now. Expecting a Tesco delivery later this afternoon, but that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good day to you all.

It is nice and bright and warmish in the sun.

I have just completed the last two runs to the recycling centre I am now rattling round like a pea in a tin since the flat has been grounded. Goodness only knows when and where I got all the stuff from and why I kept it!

This week's project is the shed and I am dreading it. It's an Aladdin's cave of things that have not seen the light of day in over ten years. It's a good job I do not mind spiders and other creepy-crawlies.

Healing vibes for Jose and Grumpy.

As for the days... we have now entered the period when we get nearly four minutes extra daylight per day. Come the end of the month that's nearly two hours extra,

Have a good one everybody.
