Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 24 Apr 2025, 04:41

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 29°. Spring lasted five minutes as Summer has decided to barge in full steam ahead.

We're going over to Jacob's for brunch. :D

On the way home we'll nip into Malaga Nostrum shopping mall. I need a few bits from Sprinter and there's a Pep&Co that's just opened. Goodies guaranteed.

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning and another 27C for us.

I'm giving the weeding of the flower beds a miss today - and possibly tomorrow  - my back is really sore  But I will sort out a few weeds at the front and then some cleaning and prep for dinner and sorting out a few bits and bobs in the back terrace.

Just left with a chesty cough, but head is clear, thankfully.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally JanB and anybody else whois up.

It was 14C when I got upbut it should getwarmer as the sun is out.

Going to a funeral this afternoon. The service is at a Methodist church. It starts at 2.00 p.m. I will get there early as there is not much parking near the church.
After the service the wake is at a cricket club. Have been to other does there before.

Will water the plants which I bought and planted yesterday when I get home. Will also do some ironing.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s a beautiful day here. I left washing out overnight so hopefully it is drying nicely. I had a very early hospital appointment, 8.30, left home with plenty of time to deal with traffic, and got there in 20 minutes - honestly if I’d been running late I would have met all sorts of holdups  Details elsewhere. The hospital grounds were looking really lovely, they are very well maintained. Kellie is here for the rest of the day, and Michael will come for his dinner later, he is playing golf with some friends.

Good afternoon.
We have Ethan and dobby the dog.
A grey day with a cool breeze.
I might sneak off to M&S later.
The car needs petrol; atm our local Shell station is cheaper than Sainsbury's, which is a rare thing.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Afternoon all, it’s a lovely day :)

John’s home today, he’s having a 24 hours pH test so has a tube up his nose and down his throat so is in hiding, he’s got to go back to the hospital at West Brom to have it removed this afternoon. I’ve taken advantage of him being here to pupsit and walked into town and back.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :D

Hot, hot, hot 8-)

It's getting hotter here, fluctuated between 31-32C yesterday. Thank goodness for the breeze on the beaches, definitely too hot to be walking far.

Another beach day for us 8-)

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Al, we're forecast high 20's next week - cannot wait :Hi: :Hi: xx

Very sensible Jan, hope your back feels better for the rest xx

Cruiser, I hope the funeral goes as well as it can xx

Glad you got to your appointment on time, Osc xx

Fuel has gone down a bit round here recently Crommers :D We tend to use Tesco for it now, for the Clubcard points xx

Oh Jo, poor John! That must be uncomfortable :? Best wishes for good results xx

Oh what glorious weather you're having Jen! 8-) :) xx

A beautifully sunny day here, and forecast to get warmer :D I feel much better today, so we went to Tesco for our big shop, as usual - without D this time, as she had a dental appointment. My washing got beautifully dry, so I've caught up with the ironing. No Pilates again.I

Love to all xx

Glad you're feeling better Kaz xx

Poor John :o Hope everything is okay Jo xx

Emergency call out this morning   Steve had opened his front door - very rare, as they use the back one - and then couldn't shut it. Not even close  They live in the old school house and the front door gets all the weather, but Grumpy sorted out :Hi:

Jacquie gave me a load of books :Hi: so that's me happy.

Did more weeding, most of the cleaning, more weeding - I really can't leave it alone this time of year, no matter how much my back aches    then made the filling for samosas - phew. And prep for dinner.

Popped down to the bar - first alcohol this week  - took the recycling down, my excuse and now sat on the back terrace, with a wine. T-shirt and summer trousers - bliss.

Very pleasant Jen 8-) 35C is getting a tad warm for me, so those temperatures are heaven.
