Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Sunny start, chance of a stray shower this morning and warmer at 22C.

Coffee morning this morning, so samosas to be warmed up and ham and cheese slices to be made, collect Lynda on the way and off we go :D Grumpy is coming, as our friends are coming up from the Algarve and we'll go for lunch afterwards.

That's the day taken care of, as we'll stop at the bar on the way home :D

A day off from weeding and strimming :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, another lovely sunny one here. Edward has headed off walking to the golf club, his usual playing partner is not playing today, so he’ll probably just go on the practice ground. I’ll be going to mobility class in a while and back to do not too much. We’ll probably go dancing tonight.

Morning all, it’s a sunny one here.

George had his walk first thing and met a couple of dogs which I used to see with Bill, he’s itching to have a run around with all dogs that he meets.
I then walked down to town as Joe’s home to dog sit. He’d booked yesterday and today off as it was his 25th birthday yesterday, thankfully United didn’t spoil it for him last night although we haven’t fully got our voices back this morning.

He’s off out to get his hair cut shortly, then he’s got to pick up some currency as he and Jade are off to Budapest next week and he then plans to visit his Grandad. Jade’s over after work so we’re having fajitas and wedges for tea. I don’t usually bother with much on Fridays but thought I’d better make an effort seeing as we’ve a guest, not sure she counts as a guest really as she’s here often, she’s pretty much part of the family

Waiting for the Tesco delivery now, it’s one stop away, and the washing machine is just finishing it’s second load so there’ll be ironing to do later.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :D

Sunny and a little bit warmer today.

Friday wash day for me, just the normal weekly stuff, boring.............. Oh not sure how, I've lost 3lbs this last week, so now only 1lb over what I was when we went away. Goodness knows how, I don't seem to have eaten less, but I'm not complaining

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
A lovely one it is too.
MrsC is off baby minding with her sister as our daughter and son in law have to go to a funeral.
I've been to the butcher and done a tip run.
The stuck hatch on the Hyundai? My daughter just opened it; no tricks, it just opened. Magic hands!
I may go to Sainsbos this pm.
Fish and chip tea tonight!
Have a good day everyone.

Jo, he'll be ordering the OAP deal, so that's "twice" for him and 'er plus scraps.

FYI: "Once" is fish, chips and a choice of mushy peas or curry sauce. Scraps are free but have to be asked for. Salt and vinegar is a DIY exercise.

So, you order once, twice, thrice, four times etc.

In our local chippy the OAP deal is a medium (tail-end) fillet all for £6.75p.

A normal portion is the much larger and thicker head-end fillet for about £9.75p the meal. Large is the whole fillet. A medium from the normal menu is about £8.25.
