Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 13 May 2025, 07:04

Good morning.

Sunny and flippin 'ot! 8-)

After a walk I'll be by the pool reading. :D

Don continues with operation Dongeon. I have to say I'm very impressed with his realisation that things are happening and he's actually zoning in to this. Laid back just doesn't cover my husband's attitude. He was definitely born to live in Spain.

I'm also very impressed with the fact he found, all stacked neatly in a corner, 24, yes 24!!! huge clear lidded IKEA boxes that he'd forgotten about.

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Sunny but still cool and we forecast some wet stuff this afternoon

Was woken up at 5-45 by Grumpy, wanting to know what the noise he heard was. Well, I was asleep, so have no idea :? Couldn't get back to sleep, he did  so I've been up and pootling. even done some weeding on the top drive

Blimey Ally, well used stuff in those boxes then

Ironing and general pootling for me. I might get some more top drive weeding done. I'd like the new bathroom light shade to go up today and also some pretty decorative tiles I bought a couple of weeks ago. Not that I nag, just mention it on the odd occasion  Wall lights for pool I bought three years ago would be nice too

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Jan....the boxes are empty.

He'd bought them a couple of years ago on a solo visit to Ikea knowing one day they'd come in handy.
He got that right.

Morning all, it’s another sunny one although we did get a bit of rain yesterday afternoon.

George has had his morning walk, the washing machine is on as is the dishwasher. Joe’s home tonight, we won’t see much of him over the next week or so. He’s off to Budapest with Jade early on Thursday so are stopping in a Manchester Airport hotel tomorrow, they’re back Sunday and then next Tuesday he flies to Valencia with his mate Ryan and from there gets a flight to Bilbao on Wednesday morning and they’ll fly back on the Friday.

Al, what a find

Have a good day all :D

That made me chuckle Jan, Ed does the same every time there's a thunder storm, and no I didn't hear it either, I was asleep   Luckily I'm usually able to turn over and go back to sleep.

Ooops, after all our work in the garden Ed forgot to put the garden bin out for collection this morning. It's collected fortnightly so will be overflowing by the time they come round again. Oh well, looks like we won't be doing much tidying over the next couple of weeks

We'll be popping to the small Tesco in the next hour or so. Don't need much, just more bananas and salad stuff really so it won't take long.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, after a disappointing day weather wise yesterday, it’s a bit better today, hazy sunshine but still windy. We’ve had a lovely night away, good dinner last night (too much!) followed by live music and dancing, thankfully I’d brought dance shoes. Nice breakfast this morning, we’ve had a walk around the beautifully maintained grounds and sat in a sheltered spot for a while. We’ll be checking out at midday and then heading to the station for our train home - so nice not to have to drive. The hotel brings you to and from the station. It’s a real family resort hotel, lots of facilities for children, it must be - er - very busy (ie hell  ) in the summer. There’s lots of great art all around the hotel, paintings and sculptures. Nice little break, once we get home it’ll be all systems go preparing for our cruise.

Good morning.
Sunny and warm again here, we're going to organise a bus trip to go and look at a cloud.
MrsC gets back from york today so I'll be picking her up from the station later.
It's felt funny being on my own.
The idea of having to move all our years of accumulated junk makes me feel faint!
Have a good day everyone.
