Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny, but blowy. Warming up now and 24C today.

We were going out for lunch today but have decided to carry on with the clearing of the land. The deadline is the end of the month and Jose Felipe still has to do the field, but that can be classed as food, so no real fire threat.

I'll do more weeding, Grumpy, hopefully, will do the drive. He seems to not to want to do it, it's so overgrown now, down one side. We have Hugo the gas man coming sometime today or tomorrow, so he'd better do it today

Something out of the freezer for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Al, Jan and all :D

Its clouded over here since I walked George at 6, and it was noticeably cooler than the last few mornings.

John left early for a site visit to Nissan in Sunderland. Joe’s in departures at Manchester Airport with Jade, their flight to Budapest is scheduled to take off at 8 so they got a train up to there last night and stayed in an airport hotel. Normally they’d have driven but their return flight is to East Midlands.

I’m waiting for a parcel to be collected which Joe brought home from work yesterday. There’s no one in the office today to hand it over to a courier.

Have a lovely day all :D

Good morning everyone

Ally, enjoy the lunch and eurovision natter. I haven't been following at all.
Jan, hope you get the land cleared in time, good luck
Jo, enjoy your day
Cruiser, nothing summer about the weather here. 10 degrees only, overcast and a nippy wind.

I'm on the train on the way to the office... so nothing exciting to report.

Have a lovely day all xx

Morning all, another lovely one, I was hanging out washing at 6.45am and could see the day was shaping up very nicely. Edward has gone walking to the golf club, he loves this fine weather. Kellie will be here later as will Michael - we are all going to the pub next door for an early dinner to celebrate my suster’s birthday which is on Sunday. We did exactly the same thing 8 years ago on this day for her 60th, I have lovely photos on my FB memories and it was a gorgeous day then also. This morning I’ll go to take out some money and buy a few bits - Tesco don’t seem to do the yogurts that Edward likes any more but I can get them locally.

Cruiser, I love the way you always have something planned for every day, I wish I had your energy!

Morning all :D

Overcast and chilly

We had a lovely walk along the seafront yesterday, but it was a bit windy and on the way back quite chilly. By the time we got back up the King George steps the top of my legs felt like jelly, will need to work on getting back into easy walking condition. Interestingly my ankle wasn't sore at all.

No plans and looking out of the window glad we didn't leave the walk till today. I've popped a casserole in the slow cooker. I brought some Bajan hot pepper sauce home and a couple of dollops have gone in too, fingers crossed I haven't overdone it :o

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon troops :D

Another sunny day here, slightly started out cloudy. This Spring is reminding me of 2020, during lockdown - glorious weather. Tesco this more, with D. Since getting home I've mopped the floors and planted some begonias. Mick's gone into town for an optician appointment. Pilates tonight.

Ally, Eurovision looks even more bonkers than ever this year  8-) xx

Hope you get a path cleared for the gas man Jan ;) xx

Hope things go well for the travellers, Jo :) xx

Happy hunting Cruiser :) xx

We seem to be getting the best of the weather in the West, Ria xx

Enjoy the celebrations Osc xx

Crommers, a weight off your minds, no doubt xx

Good news about your ankle, Jen xx

Love to all xx
