Afternoon all

It's much more bearable here today, mid-20's, I even did some ironing this morning
I needed my fringe trimmed, so Shereen squeezed me in between her appointments. The thing is, since I've been growing my hair I only need a full cut every 8 weeks, but my fringe needs trimming about halfway through After that Mick and I nipped up to Tesco, had a quick cuppa, then went to D's. Home now.

Ally I'm glad it's cooled down a little, if 40° can be described as cooler The lunchtime news had an item on the heat in mainland Europe, it looked horrific xx

Jan I've not really been cooking either! The one hot meal I [i]have/i] cooked - chicken and veg - I couldn't eat more than half We're living on salads - I'd like to think I'll lose some weight, but we'll see xx

It's been humid at night Cruiser, I think lots of us have been struggling to sleep xx

Osc, I hope they've had a brilliant time at Wimbledon. Mick was talking to a friend on his dogwalk this morning who has a champagne business. He was there yesterday, and said it was roasting hot, so business was booming xx

I must admit to buying 2 or 3 at a go because B&M does not seem to have regular stockists. I have also found laundry stuff by Asevi which is excellent. Jan and Ally might recognise it as it is Spanish.

Not that I am trying to influence anybody you understand.

I use Asevi too Frank, found it to be excellent. Not always available though in our local Home Bargains.
