An interesting bit of research has hit the news: malnutrition hits cognitive abilities such as with reading, writing and maths.

This has now been highlighted because there is a global nutrition summit in London and ahead of this year's G8. And the answer to this problem? Is it birth control to stop so many being born into the hell of poverty and malnutrition? No! The answer is to artificially turn marginal land into crop producing land so that more can survive and bring even more into poverty.

With this kind of wishy-washy thinking we don't stand a bloody chance.
