Lobbying

Postby KateLMead » 03 Jun 2013, 08:13

They have been a constant bugbear in my mind, thieving rogues at least 75% of the have or are milking the system.. Greed pure greed.. I like the way that Labour is milking the subject when their own government is as corrupt as can be, along with Clegg's wife with her contacts, and he directing cash incentives to the areas where he has had mediocre success in the votes his wife's lobbying in her position as a lawyer.. B'Liar, and Brown (who says he gives everything he earns to charity.. I remember the interest when the Australian woman in B'Liars government joined as a director of BT when she was thrown out! (resigned) her son was done for drug dealing. Increase in salary? they are paid too much for what they don't do now...We have a right lot in all parties and they truly need a big clean out.
Time the general public showed a bit of guts and took these bulls by the horns!! :x

Those who offer, and those who accept, inducements to influence how this country is run should be thrown in jail. That should also include party sponsors (personal/corporate) unless their offer comes with no strings attached.

I see the 'noble' Lords are all denying that they've done anything wrong. What a shower they are! 'Baron' Cunningham saying he wanted £144,000 a year, this after a long career as an MP on nice money and very nice perks.. into the 'Lords' and it's business as usual for him...
There was another expose on the HoL a couple of years ago, with even more of them putting themselves forward for hire.
Either get the House of Lords back to what it was, devoid of party time servers, or do away with it and knock the place down.

Not only are these crooks in The Lords, but also rife amongst MP's.. Every Lord and Lady, Baron and Baroness get £300 every time they turn up for a meeting, generally three or four can be seen in their hall. The rest have signed in, gone for a booze up and a meal in the highly subsidised bar and restaurant, following which when they are legless they take a taxi home and charge double on their expenses.. Madam Kinnock was caught doing the same when her useless old man was Commissioner. All par for the course my friend!!
