When you take them down this year Ally, wrap them around a rolled up magazine or newspaper, or the inside tube of a kitchen roll - then next year you won't have that annual tussle!

I always plug them in first to test them before I start fighting with them

...and then think "Oh damn!" when they work and I have to start untangling them :oops:

We have 2 lots and they're on UK plugs so need to be put into an adapter.

Me, being me, (thick!) tried them.

Don! Don! The lights don't work. Oh bluddy Nora. :shock:
