A few imponderables here, certainly a good idea in principle, like fixing your car with bits from the breakers. Ethics involved though in the whole concept not the least of which is the high cost to the struggling NHS which all too often only gives a recipient a short life extension in a miserable existence on ARDs. Then there is the little matter of who owns the body of the deceased, presumably the inheritor of his estate and not the state plus of course as Suff says when is a person really dead and organs can be removed safely. Here`s to the days though when organs can be reseeded with the recipients own cells.

It has been my understanding that hospitals have actually sent kidneys etc abroad. "for a price" Good money made from spare parts.

I do respect your right to an opinion, honestly I do, but I really don't understand it......

The nearest I can get Kaz is that asking permission and being granted it is OK; but just taking is definitely not.
Plus, trust.
The state has to be trusted to do the right thing, and I don't trust them at all.
