Birthday cake

Postby Ally » 15 Oct 2013, 21:44

I had planned to make a 2 and a 1 sponge things, cover them in icing and put them on a silver cake thing (I'm so clued up on the technical names...not! :-P :-P )

Someone else (who happens to be a fantastic baker!!!) is now making a cake for the boys. 8-)

I'm now wondering whether to just make a load of cupcakes, put them in the shape of a 2 and a 1 and be done with it!

I'm busy with work, seeing mum and dad every second day and next week have 3 extra people in the house to distract me/take me to the pub/and generally make my life even more bonkers!

I was thinking it might be nice for everyone to just be able to take a cake away with them as well as have a slice of the 'posh cake' :?

If someone else is making one Ally then yes, just do cupcakes - or not even that if you're too busy, don't worry about it.
All everyone will remember is what a fantastic party it was :D

Or just put J or C on each of them, they'll think you've gone all religious ;) :D
