Moto GP

For the chaps here

I was made up for Dani, but it will not be enough. Another bridesmaid season again.

Marquez's riding style has me baffled. I can't really explain it except to say that he kind of makes some bends, not all, into two straightish lines with his own sharp apex somewhere off the kerb. He goes in wide them comes out shallow, and I think that the other riders can't live with it.

Philip Island, Australia on Sunday. By the time I get up the race will be over, but the Beeb will have highlights.
Lorenzo on pole! He hit a seagull in qualifying and did two laps with the unfortunate bird wedged in his fairing..
If I won the lottery I would follow MotoGP for a whole season, travelling round the world.

I hereby officially apply for the job of travelling butler, footman, food and drink taster, and chauffeur to Mr Cromwell of the City of Wakefield in the County of Yorkshire (should he win the Lottery).

Just watched the Aussie MotoGP and am baffled. A BF is a punishment too far for missing the pit window, imo, and if a rider is punished a place (another punishment too harsh) it surely has to be applied at the end of the race and not during.

It was a bit baffling. Lorenzo is in top form though and the result sets the season up nicely for the last two races.
I didn't win this week btw - not even a tenner!

Black Flag Shell, same as F1..... you're hooked from the race as soon as. No point appealing or complaining later as the damage is already done.

They are usually only given for blatant disregard for safety, be it driving style or car malfunctions. I cannot remember many. I think Schumi might have got one at some time, and maybe Robert Kubica when his car was falling to bits. Nando might have got one the other year had his front wing not caused him to crash; and Nico just the other week, though it was clear that he was driving safely to get back to the pits.

So, it goes to Valencia with Jorge now only 13 points behind Marco. Who would have thought that four races ago.

Jorge was just so smooth and on the softer tyre was able to get the drive out of so many tight corners he actually made Marco look a bit ragged at times.

I haven't watched the Formula 1 race yet, I came on here just to see if you knew whether the rider that was injured in the Moto GP2 race and was hit by another bike was ok.

I see you also have posted a Seb Vettel World Champ again thread, but I am hoping that doesn't actually tell me the result of the race. Still that'll teach me, I usually avoid this page until I have seen it
