I would happily be an MP on £65k a year, plus expenses. It might not make me rich but I would be more than comfortable. I would go further and prevent MPs from having directorships and board positions, and to work most of their time as an MP. You know what, that would stop the independently wealthy from using Westminster to their own ends. Some of them might then work for their constituents rather than their paymasters.
This makes me furious, this not only applies to MP's Frank we learn that the Chief Executive of The shocking failed Colchester hospital is in the news raking in a fortune whilst seriously neglecting his public duties in the NHS with his involvement in another company he set up.
The 65k is the start of what these wastes of space get, the secretarial duties, (family) electric, heating, second homes, gardening,furnishings,travel!
Along with their other directorships and jobs.
