An honourable MP?

Postby Workingman » 08 Feb 2014, 16:11

Mark Harper, Immigration Minister, has resigned after it was found that his office cleaner did not have permission to work in the UK - an illegal immigrant. Good for him, it is the honourable thing to do.

I do not for one minute suspect that he had any personal involvement with employing the person, that would have been down to his staff or an agency, but the buck has to stop somewhere. Others in public life should take note.

I take my hat off to him Frank, a few in various parties have been exposed for employing illegal immigrants in their homes, none resigned when found out.

Not a resigning matter I would have have thought, particularly if he was doing a good job but probably unlikely judging by the flood still coming in. :(

One only needed to listen to Smiths waffle to observe his incompetence, he is too busy ensuring he gets his coffers filled from his ten directorships to bother about the problems communities are facing with the shocking deluge of floods ruining people's lives, he passes the problem onto other incompetents, he looked furious when questioned.
"Sack the man" no pension No golden handshake. I would think his fellow Labourites
Are delighted at what has happened, believing this catastrophe and the inept action
Will get them votes.
