We thought about it, but decided we'd go with the Tommy Cooper instead .....

It's very dark and muddy!

Oh :( they changed it :(
I was hoping they would follow the story closely, but alas no. I wasn't on the edge of my seat once.

Oh poo. :(

We taped this and the Tommy Cooper thing too (massive TC fans here) but not sure if I'll watch Jamaica Inn now. :?

I adore the book.

Turned the volumn right up and still could`nt hear what they were saying :(
Also it was so dark you could`nt see what was happening.
I will watch tomorrow and hope it improves.

The Tommy Cooper bio-pic was difficult viewing. The first hour was rather excruciating, the second hour was riveting. It was like watching a car crash in slow motion. I was very much reminded of Titanic - you knew what was going to happen and thus it was extremely difficult watching it .... we might look at part 2 of Jamaica Inn tomorrow .....

I don't know if I want to watch the next part - but hubby does. It was drab and I had to put the subtitles on halfway through to know what it was about
