If a gun holds more than one bullet, and most modern guns do, then they are by definition multi-fire. A revolver is multi-fire, so is a pump action shotgun, and even a bolt action rifle with a magazine comes under the heading.

Banning multi-fire weapons would be a virtual ban of all guns, and that is impracticable.... though many would argue for it being a good thing.
