Constituents' "Question Time" for MPs.

The proposal from the Hansard Society is for "People's Question Time Days" twice a year. It says that they would make MPs more accountable between elections by opening them up to elector scrutiny.

Is this a good idea or more flim-flam?

I suppose a lot would depend on how the days are run. Will they be open-house or selected members only? Will questions from the floor be allowed or will they be filtered? And will constituents be allowed to recall MPs if they are not representing them in parliament?

Have not heard of this.

But I have had letters from our MP when I have made comments on petitions asking for her support.
