That's interesting Osc. Sounds as if he might be a misunderstood sort of person. I've only read one of his books, The Sea, and enjoyed it. As for Belfast/Dublin accents, well I can't imagine someone from Belfast being mistaken for a Dubliner or vice versa! :lol:

YES!!!

Every 'drama' on the BBC seems to be filmed in half-light at best and features miserable faced people dressed in dreary clothes, standing around in gloomy rooms muttering at each other (You can tell it's drama cos they're all frowning). ;)

It's become really cliched now.

On a slightly different tack I watched "Game of Thrones" the other week. Twice.
Well, I say twice. It could have been the same episode I watched twice, it's kind of hard to tell.

Both featured people dressed in skins, running around in the pitch black roaring and shouting, merrily murdering each other.

(I thought it was cr*p.. :) )

:lol: :lol: We watched the first ever episode of that the other night too Cromwell!!! I actually really enjoyed it, although I did get a bit pink at the nuddy bits as B was watching with us. She didn't turn a hair but I felt a bit embarrassed :oops: :roll: :lol: Daft as she is 18 after all...................
