This is my favourite Aunt and Uncle's house. My uncle and his Dad built it back in the early 70s and it's a lovely house. Their reason for moving is that my uncle's parents lived two doors away in a bungalow but have sadly died now so, as the plot was large, they divided it into two and sold the bungalow with some garden and kept the other part for themselves and have had a dormer bungalow built which is close to being ready to move into.

This is the house we lived in until I was 1. It was rented and my Dad's parents lived just a few doors along in a bungalow. My Mom often says how sad it is that the fronts of the house were 'modernised' - apparently they all had lovely big bay windows when we lived there. The house backs onto the railway line and Mom used to have problems drying the washing with the steam trains going past.

Ohh I love that first one Jo, I am very fond of that style, and in fact we looked at one very similar here in Gloucester but then this one came along and of course won us over :D The garden there is lovely, really very nice 8-)

That second one is an ideal starter out kind of house, isn't it? :)

We know exactly where it is - just up the road from the other house we like and within shouting distance of some friends

Bread, fish, veg man arrives daily.

Ourique is the nearest big ish town, we've stayed there before.

My only concern - well, a couple. It's only 2 bed and both are en-suite.
