Yes it will be interesting.

I'm glad there was such a big turnout, it's good that no-one can say 'oh well, if more had voted' - and good that they all cared enough to vote.

Time justice was done here to get in motion us getting out of Europe. I felt nauseated watching Miliband and Cameron
I think the Scots gave the no vote inspite of them.

Shaz, you might have gone to bed feeling gutted but you should awake as a proud Scot.

Your country had been under the World's spotlight for the past few days and its ordinary men and women have behaved impeccably. You have shown the world democracy at its best.

Very mixed feelings over the result Shaz and all you other lovely Scottish people who really wanted to run their own country but nevertheless admire your attitude in acceptance. The loser in this case does not actually have a"fall" (apologies to ABBA) as in this case you are still part of a great country, hopefully on the up and up. On the other hand I must confess that I see little real justification for a break up of UK at this moment in time bearing in mind that such would most probably weaken both for a while a least and the marriage effect of two entities together is usually greater than the result of the sum of the two if separate.

Well there's always some who want to ruin it all. Apparently it's kicking off in Glasgow city centre. The Yes voters were gathering there (not sure why) and the No voters have decided to go there to celebrate. There's been clashes, scuffles, things being thrown, etc but it does look like the police were on top of it immediately so hopefully they'll all be broken up and moved on.

Not much being said about that down here, Shaz. Hopefully it is local and small-scale, but I suppose there were going to be some flare ups, Friday night and all that.

C'mon Vic, we have moved on from that.

And maybe some of us have moved on in time and don't live in the past.

I was surprised by how little coverage there's been, WM. It's not a major incident, and I don't think it's a sign of widespread unrest, but it is very ugly. It definitely looked like it was planned but, in all honesty I don't think the trouble has been caused by Yes or No voters, as such. Rather, part of it seems to have an underlying current of the religous/football related bigotry that is ever present in Glasgow.

Whatever the cause, it's shameful to see. One positive though is the amount of condemnation I'm seeing, on my social media, from both sides. Perhaps the disgraceful display by some will do more to unite the country than anything else will.
