Have just checked FB and have had a message from the twat. He says he is not commenting on public on FB "for obvious reasons" (not sure what his reasons are - dick head) but if we can let him know privately how things are going he would be very grateful to know and has left me his mobile number.

Maybe my sarcastic comment on FB did it.

I have put sent him back a rather cryptic message saying that things don't look too good (well, he doesn't need to know yet) and that this is last chance saloon and we have decided that if this doesn't work we will have her put to sleep (true) and that we are gutted (true).

I can only assume that he has seen my comment about not commenting but I would love to know what his "not commenting for obvious reasons" is supposed to mean. I can't be arsed to ask though.

But it does make me realise that he probably feels really bad about it all. Fortunately in the long term I will probably let it lie and forgive him. Unfortunately, I know that Mick never will.

He has just replied back immediately to my message and so I took pity on him (I'm such a soft touch) and said that the vet is cautiously optimistic.
