Humph!!!
We do people tell fibs
Over here, when describing a property, we go by "habitable" size and rooms sizes, as in sq. meters. The house is described as having 170m2, whioch is almost the size of ours - so was a bit confused to see the photos and also that it was only 2 bedrooms.
What they've done, is add the garden shed, the wood store, the stone out-building and also the car-port, as habitable. That will come back to bite them o nthe bum when they actually sell They added the terraces, which is fine.
So it is tiny
The lounge is not a room to relax in, you could almost touch the wall from one side to the other and there was an enormous crack down one wall in one bedroom and I really disliked the double-glazed windows, so out of character for the supposed age of the house..
They tried to baffle Grumpy (yeah, he was a builder, just try and tell him about building houses ) about how it was abuilt, what was left of the original monte etc etc.
They also said that the garden wall was falling down, so had it re-built - but forgot to mention that it was a huge flood that caused it
And access? Don't get me statred on that one - they don't actually own some of the frontage, that's by some-one else - no-one knows who again, quite normal over here.
I loved the outside terraces, and also the swing benches Didn't like their furniture and there was not a hope of both of us sleeping comfortably in the double bed - it was a 3/4, not a double
And then we heard the goss from our friends - so that really made our minds up.
So it's still the other house in the same cluster - you can't call it a village, there's only about 10 houses altogether
