No I wasn't

We used to do this sort of thing at work - really vent our feelings in a letter, then delete. Hopefully

I'll try again tomorrow: I know what I want to say, it's just trying to be diplomatic, especially if we're able to buy a house in the near vicinity and they're still around - people are far and few between where we're hoping to go.

What I said to those ferlippin fibbers.....................

Hope you had a comfortable and pleasant journey back to England.

Just writing to let you know, that, reluctantly, we won't be offering for your home in Ourique.

As you know, we both fell in love with the outside, but have had serious thoughts about how the inside would work for us, as a family.

Although it has everything we need outside, the size of the house - although advertised at 170m2 - really isn't big enough for us. Our home here is 153m2 and we are classed as a T4/5, so were expecting, as your home is advertised as a two bedroomed home, be able to add at least another bedroom and bathroom.

There were also another couple of concerns we had, so added with the house size, we have decided, sadly, your home is not for us.

We would like to thank you for your time and patience and wish you a speedy sale.

Kind regards

Just as an aside, houses here are described as a T0, T1 etc etc

T0 is a studio so a T4/5, which ours is, is a 4/5 bedroomed house.

Was I a bit too schoolmarmish Kaz??

Grumpy said that although I can - sometimes  - get away with how I speak face to face (I can come across as a bit abrupt, wiothout meaning to  ) it does, sometimes come across when I'm putting finger to keyboard.
