I just spoke to the nurse again. She kept her lunchtime yoghurt down and she had just given her a sachet of some sort of liquidy convalesence food fifteen minutes before I rang and so far, so good - she had kept it down.

She is giving her some more of than in about an hour (she should have 3 sachets a day and has so far just had a half a sachet) and she says for me to ring her back at about 5.15 before she leaves for the day.

More good news - I'm not used to good news anymore!

She kept the powdered food down and an hour later had some tinned food mixed with yoghurt (enough to make anyone vomit I think) and kept that down. They will give her a little more later on along with some probiotics and then its nothing to eat because of the op tomorrow.

So hopefully its upwards and onwards from now on.

Blimey if she can keep a mix of yoghurt and tinned food down then she can keep anything down (where's that vomiting smilie that Osc used the other week when you need it?).
