Thanks Loz :) She was hyperventilating last night (late evening just before bed) and I was just starting to get really worried, but then it stopped as quickly as it started, and she seems perfectly normal today after a really good night! :) She's finally managed to rid herself of the kaolin the vet gave her ( ) and that seems to have perked her up :? We aren't too sure why she gave her kaolin in the first place as she was far more 'sicky' than 'runny' but they obviously know what they are doing 8-) 8-)

She has a few more days on the antibiotic tablets and hopefully that will be that 8-) :)

I've been almost as worried about her as I would have been about one of the kids, just goes to show how much they come to mean to us!

Good that she is improving Kaz, such a worry. I am taking Oscar to the vets when I get back from the doctors, he has dragged his rear end across the carpet for over a month, i wormed him and it started again . Yesterday I observed blood in his stool, he has always had to strain when he goes to the loo, oh dear what a worry... I am wondering whether the dog bones he eats now and again might be causing the problem. He. Was wrenching at 3am but was not sick. That ended my nights sleep. As you say, they are as much loved as our children.

Hope he gets on ok Kate.

The scrapping his rear end is usually an anal gland problem. Hopefully they will just need emptying, horrible job, be prepared

I used to do the anal glands on my West Highland Terrier, Kiltie, myself. Yuk. At least it saved her the trauma of a vet visit which she hated.

I hope Pepper is fully recovered now Kaz. You worry as much about them as children don't you?
