Jihadi John and his video collection.

Postby Workingman » 16 Nov 2014, 18:08

The latest shows the beheading of Syrian soldiers and Peter Kassig, convert name, Abdul-Rahman. According to the BBC's Frank Gardner this is the most sickening video, he says:
This is perhaps the most elaborate and graphic of all the murder videos posted online by IS. Much of it is taken up with a recent history lesson on Iraq and Syria as seen through the eyes of the jihadists. But the latter part shows the beheading of 18 Syrian prisoners in revolting, lingering detail.

Unlike earlier videos, this one revels in gore. Amongst the boiler-suited captives murdered in cold blood is a man IS says is the former US soldier Peter Kassig, who converted to Islam and changed his name to Abdul-Rahman.

Neither his conversion, nor the fact that he was helping refugees when he was captured a year ago, appear to have saved him.

Sky's Sam Kiley says this:
In the latest atrocious production from the house of horror, a group of men that, the voiceover claims, is made up of airmen from the Syrian forces of Bashar al Assad are beheaded on camera.

The faces of the soon to be dead and their killers are shown in detail. There are cutaway shots of the murderers casually fiddling with the knives they employ.

It's lurid.

We already knew that IS are savages, but we also learn a few other things. Going on TV dressed so as not to offend Moslems while pleading for a loved one's life is a wast of time. Converting to Islam so as not to offend is also a waste of time. Volunteering to go out to help is a waste of time. If you are not one of them, IS, you are fair game. The only way to deal with this group is massive force and and that has to be applied wherever they are be it in Raqqah, Bradford or New Jersey.

If a group was shown beheading cattle or sheep for the hell of it there would be hundreds of thousands of protesters on the streets.........

The security services really should take out their net access. Would they still make these foul videos if they couldn't put them online? The publicity is oxygen and they need to be choked :(

The thing is that they can be kept and eye on with some net and mobile phone access......

As for the videos, they would burn them to discs and post them off to some supporter to upload them.

Time to subscribe them to the involuntary euthanasia program. Then collect on their subscription.....

I'm still in favour of 1 head == one historic mosque totally destroyed. Whether populated at the time or not. Honestly we've got to stop people like Turkey thinking it's OK to use the IS as a tool to gain their goals against the Syria leadership.

I'm getting seriously hacked off with all this "capture a person" then hold them hostage and murder them brutally if they don't get what they want. Brutal murder goes both ways. It's called total war.

That is the old USA hawkish stance, and I am beginning to come round to it.

If we are going to have a "war" let's have a proper one. And if the other side wants us to play by their rules let us accommodate them, and then some, sans the beheading and torture. Also, if their fifth column in the West starts to play up we should round them all up and drop them out of the back of a squadron of Hercs wearing 'Army Surplus' parachutes.

It is probably going to happen at some time so we might as well take our gloves off and get on with it before they get too organised.

I'm beginning to think that it will have to come to total war. I see this as possibly the worst threat
to civilised society since the rise of the Nazi Party. The problem is that we don't know the strength
of the enemy's fifth column.

The only way to find out is actually to try...

Funny though isn't it. During WWII the Germans decided to parachute into the country as it was, supposedly, easier than the city. In fact it was the worst place for them to parachute into. In many ways they would have been better off parachuting into the Thames in a divers suit and then floating downstream to the city.

Today? Anyone could come in and they would only be caught by betrayal or being stupid.

Given that they are unlikely to be untrained and, if they work in cells with extremely dedicated people, unlikely to be betrayed either.

What most people forget is that radical Moslems don't always come in middle eastern or Indian subcontinent coverings.....

The changes in our society, in order to deal with this, are unlikely to be at all popular with a populace who have no idea of war or what it takes to protect ourselves from one.

I was talking to Mrs S today about the impact of a radicalised Putin. Should he turn off the gas supply to the West, then Western Europe may face it's "3 day week" with Gas. In Winter. I doubt that many will support action against Russia in that case. More concerned with heating, hot water and gadgets than Russian imperialism in Georgia.....

Interesting world we live in today.....

The gas situation with Russia has always worried me - being self-sufficient for energy seems so important yet we haven't achieved it, mainly as no government has been brave enough to tackle a politically tricky issue :(

I hope it won't come to full out war, but fear it might..........

That's an awful thing to say.

You believe that killing innocent people is the way forward ?........That's exactly what they are doing.

Plus that wouldn't be in the least effective as this organisation cares for no one and wouldn't give a stuff if mosques were destroyed.

That is sinking to their level and you really can't go any lower than that.

I understand what you are saying Moonie, and I do agree in part. However, it has to be remembered that IS wants a Caliphate form Morocco and sub-Saharan Africa, all the way to the Indian sub-continent, and is prepared to do anything, anything, to achieve it.

We should also note the lack of outright condemnation from Moslem countries and Moslems around the world. Why would that be? It all suggests an element of sympathy with the cause IS espouses and its methods to achieve it, and the World, not only the West, cannot afford not to act.
