The sheer arrogance of the man who doesn't think he should have a life ban from cycling inspite of his bullying, lies and drug taking, sport is a money making racket and swamped in dishonesty.
I no longer follow any sport, no to football, cricket, cycling, even snooker, where drug taking is par for the course.. These overpaid performer's who whatever crime they commit are above the law. They can Rape, cheat, drive drunk and kill a pedestrian, and they get away with their crimes. Sport ? The sport is what these morons can get away with.

I have seen clips and read reports, and it largely backfired.

It was stage managed and there was not an ounce of remorse in his eyes or body language. The words were there, but the emotions were lacking. It came across as a defence, or justification, of events rather than the grovelling apology many thought was about to be delivered.

Which in itself is OK, but he is a bully as well. When he saw one of his ex-team mates in a restraunt, Armstrong threatened to "F***ing destroy" him for giving evidence to the cycling authorities.
They were all at it, Armstrong was just a more efficient doper than the others; the times on the Tour are supposedly slower than in Armstrong's day, which indicates that the doping has been much reduced.
I'm glad he's been exposed; from the off the French said he was doping and they have been proved right.

I was amazed that some female wet Libber stated he should not face a life ban.. I would stick his ass in Jail, freeze every penny in his bank accounts wherever he may have hid them, and make him cycle in prison from morning till night until he drops.
I was amazed at his sheer arrogance, another who thinks he is untouchable..
I would think he had had a fix before being questioned about his filthy drug ridden practices...

He must be a perjurer. He has taken numerous publications to court for libel when they printed that he was a doping cheat. He made $ millions from the damages paid. The Times is now suing him to get their money back, but surely the US Courts should be looking at his depositions following his admissions to Oprah?

He was waffling about his family, and how he had the misery of telling his son he was a cheat...As said the man is emotionally ice cold, as cold as charity...Poor wife and family,cruelty and manipulation are part of his nature and I would think his hard cruel personality was not restricted only to the race track.
Imagine living with the druggie poor woman her life must be hell.

The eyes and body language were what struck me. It was as though he had made a study and was working to avoid any tell-tale signs - no licking lips, touching face, furrowed brow, mangling of hands - just a talking statue.

I see he is about to be sued for $12 million by a US insurance company... there will be more. It won't be long before he declares personal bankruptcy, you'll see.
