It truly sounds revolting to me! But then I have very pedestrian tastes in food :?

Sigh...Debih wouldn't it be wonderful if we could just say 'let's go'! I bet every mouthful would be fantastic.

And actually Kaz, I know it sounds peculiar, but for instance one of the 'savoury lollies' was salmon mouse wrapped with a line of avocado and one of horseradish (I think). The food itself is not weird, it's the methods and design that are bonkers :D

Debih did you hear what they said, there are forty chefs! Forty!!!
It's completely mad, but it's like the equivalent of haute couture isn't it :)

(Edited) - Kaz and Rodo you've both posted while I was typing.
I'm exactly the same! I cook simply and order simply too.
But, like the dishes we saw from Michel Roux jnr, I would also absolutely love to try the truly best of the best :)

I know - 40 chefs for a 42 cover restaurant. Amazing! And he said that some of the dishes can take up to a week to prepare.

But I like my food hot

To be quite honest, I wouldn't want to eat there, far too pretentious for me, sorry.

I'd much rather eat in Tom Kerridge's place :)

Those two chefs who were mentioned as having died, were they killed in a skiing accident? I seem to remember reading something about it a while ago. I just wondered if they were the two senior chaps.

Just found the article. It was a traffic accident and I don't recognise either of them.

Oh yes to Tom Kerridge too Ton. Loved him and his style of cooking and the relaxed atmosphere and far more affordable.
