Change of plan 8-)

Gez came up for a nose and a gossip a couple of hours and tea later, I'll just make soup and do the potatoes for tonight.

Really hazy sunshine, but warm :D

BBQ's are now banned in rural areas, because of the heat. So I'll cook the pork steaks on the hob inside. We could have one, if we're careful, but do I really want to stand over a fire and turn stuff over? Nope.

The pool was lovely, but my head got hot, so didn't do 100 lengths, as normal.

I was sure I'd posted but it seems not! :?

Evening everyone, I hope your days have gone to plan, mine was the same old, same old! I was going to Zumba tonight, now the heatwave has abated somewhat, but it's cancelled due to urgent maintenance at the Community Centre :cute: Never mind, it will be Corrie and crisps on the sofa instead :P

I'm even later :D We took Michael out for the day. First of all we needed to go to our solicitor in town for Mr Osc to sign something. That appointment was for 11am, and we went by train. The weather generally was not great but we had our rain jackets on. After the legal stuff, we headed to Starbucks, Michael's favourite. Then we went to the Little Museum of Dublin, just a few doors down (we had planned to try and stay in the same area of the city). It is a small museum, containing a very eclectic mix of stuff about Dublin City since about 1900. Interesting, but because it is quite small, they insist you take their tour, and I think Michael would have enjoyed more being able to potter around looking at individual things - for example, he was really interested in an old typewriter especially when I told him I learned to type on one just like it!

Then we had lunch.....Michael's choice....Burger King  , after which we went for an icecream in our favourite icecream shop, Amorino, Michael has not been there before. A stroll to the station and home around 4pm, all suitably tired after quite a lot of walking. He is very good to bring out, well behaved, and interested in what is going on around him.
