I'm even later
We took Michael out for the day. First of all we needed to go to our solicitor in town for Mr Osc to sign something. That appointment was for 11am, and we went by train. The weather generally was not great but we had our rain jackets on. After the legal stuff, we headed to Starbucks, Michael's favourite. Then we went to the Little Museum of Dublin, just a few doors down (we had planned to try and stay in the same area of the city). It is a small museum, containing a very eclectic mix of stuff about Dublin City since about 1900. Interesting, but because it is quite small, they insist you take their tour, and I think Michael would have enjoyed more being able to potter around looking at individual things - for example, he was really interested in an old typewriter especially when I told him I learned to type on one just like it!
Then we had lunch.....Michael's choice....Burger King
, after which we went for an icecream in our favourite icecream shop, Amorino, Michael has not been there before. A stroll to the station and home around 4pm, all suitably tired after quite a lot of walking. He is very good to bring out, well behaved, and interested in what is going on around him.
