I've done 7 barrow loads so far :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Thoroughly enjoying myself. Yes, it's hard work pushing a wheelbarrow through an uphill ploughed field, but we've done one path and almost finished another. :Hi: :D

Although I think the last one is for another day

The sun is out, the cow bells can be heard from a distance and a tractor and next doors dogs have been kept inside, so all is lovely 8-) 8-) 8-)

That is a huge weight loss Suff. How did you do it?

SlimNSave shakes, very little cheating and my fitbit tells me I climbed more than 200 floors over the weekend. In fact I climbed a ladder with 6 18ftx10x4 beams (just about as heavy as I can manage nowadays), for the roof over the deck. They had to go up and come down and then up again as I had to measure them and check them to fit the main support beam at the front. Then I put up 16 flooring sheets and screwed them in. Probably the fact that I'm terrified of heights and I was 5M up a ladder when doing the last of the flooring sheets helped a lot too...   As I had to haul the sheets up and put them in place on my own and they're over 2m long and 70cm wide..

But most of all I was massively overweight. I managed to hit 21st just before I came home as the pressure of work pushed me into overeating.

However, onwards and upwards.... Hopefully I'll still be around 18/19stone when I go back to work next year. Seems they want me back to do some SOX work..

Well done with the weight Suff.
Late here today because we were at our son's house for 8am this morning, waiting for the man to come and install the broadband. It was one of those 8.00-13.00 appointments. Anyway, that's done. MrsC has been round to her dads yet again. One day I will post about her family but I'm afraid I won't be believed.
I might go to the gun club tonight as I need to shoot a card. I don't go enough and my scores have gone to pot.
Have a good day everyone.

All sorted with the blood test. The walk in clinic is open as normal apart from Christmas Day and Boxing Day. However, I spoke to the sister on the ward he was on and the test they want him to have is for the GP to check so I've made him an appointment for the 27th with the practice nurse. That's not got us out of going to the walk in clinic next week though as he has a haematology appointment next month and was given the blood form to get a test late December and that needs to be done at the hospital so we'll also be going there next week.
