Morning all - not much longer to go Ally and your parents will have landed. Have a fab catch up with them and safe travels to Jackie and Sue for later
Ton good luck with all your bits and bobs and hope you get the pool licence sorted and enjoy the coffee and catch up at the bar later
Happy birthday to D for today Kaz, hope she had a lovely time in Ireland?
Jen, wow - only three more weeks. Bet you cannot wait.
We had the mother of all thunderstorms last night - 5cm rain in about 2 hours and oh my goodness the thunder and lightning
The three indoor cats were hiding out under the bed. Not sure where Jamie was but she came in about 2am fairly dry so she obviously had found some shelter somewhere. But poor Monty came in a few minutes after Jamie totally soaked. I suspect he'd been hiding under the larger conifer in the front garden and despite my calling him he just wouldn't brave the dash through the downpour to come in. So he got soaked
But nothing a cuddle with a towel couldn't sort. But my oh my - I don't recall a storm like that since living in SA; it was spectacular!
Usual work day for me and then home for a relaxing evening and hopefully a more peaceful nights sleep
Have a lovely day all xxx
