Had she kept quiet the crime would have gone undetected, but no, she wanted revenge on a cheating husband.
Well she got her revenge; he had to resign. But it has come back to bite her as well, as things often do. They could or should now both go to jail.
If only the police had done their jobs properly in the first place all this expense could have been spared. He would never have become an MP and she would have lost a highly paid job. All in all they haven't done too badly out of it.
